Thank you, Jonathan. I too care for my grandchildren who reside safely in the US. Your question, and the caring revealed by the pain, reminds me that that safety I believe in is all to easily an illusion, that I cannot allow that sense of safety to stop my caring from extending ‘over there’ as well as here.

Beautiful! I had to read the whole thing through twice before I realized you had written “Adam/Eve” instead of “Adam and Eve.” I just want to let you know I definitely get it, even if sometimes I wish I didn’t.

I love this post. The prose, as usual, reads like poetry. I confess, though, i was equally impressed by the interim message:

Under construction
Again!
Something seriously wrong!
Hope to be back
Soon!
Very soon!

Even this message has a poetic sensibility. Could be a statement of a soul on the verge and transition to incarnation in another life.

Brilliant and lovely — one could envy even those dark straps as a path to follow back to the light. Did Eve I wonder? And how did it feel, this change in dress?? Better perhaps to remain a pair of hawks, returning year after year.
